Here’s one for true pork aficionados: Learn how to perfectly butcher a pig at a special Savor Dallas event on Sunday! Fret not, it doesn’t end there. Read on!

To be hosted at Proof + Pantry this Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m., this event is part of Savor Dallas‘ new Toast of the Town Event Series and will feature executive chef Kyle McClelland, a highly regarded local culinary talent, explaining and demonstrating techniques for properly butchering a pig. Watch and learn where all your favorite cuts come from and sample a number of his favorite pork dishes. To wash it all down, Proof + Pantry co-owner and James-Beard-nominated barman Michael Martensen will be pairing each dish with specially selected beer, wine and cocktails. This should be a highly educational and fun event. What a great way to spend an early Sunday evening! Will you be there?
